Yfat Barak- Cheney - Senior Project Manager
Yfat Barak-Cheney is the World Jewish Congress’s Director of International Affairs and Director of Technology and Human Rights. Through her work, Yfat engages with stakeholders such as governments, international organizations, civil society and tech companies on issues of hate speech and antisemitism online, Holocaust Denial and Distortion online, using technology for education and more. As Senior Project Manager of HOPE, Yfat oversees the strategic implementation of the project, ensuring that HOPE's tools and resources are effectively used to empower Jewish communities and foster safe online spaces. She leads efforts to strengthen partnerships with policymakers and tech platforms, driving advocacy and awareness on digital hate issues and supporting the enforcement of policies that address online antisemitism.
Andras Ligeti - Project Administrator
Andras Ligeti is the World Jewish Congress’s Director of Community Relations and Representative for Central Europe. In this role, Andras maintains close connections with WJC’s affiliated communities, helping them build capacity, access resources, and implement WJC initiatives at the national level. For the HOPE Project, Andras oversees all communications with national affiliated communities, ensuring they are supported in their efforts to combat antisemitism online. He also manages the project’s communication with the European Commission and coordinates with the operator and Digital Contact Points, streamlining processes to ensure the project's objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Hannah Maman Martinez– Project Manager
Hannah Maman is an associate at the World Jewish Congress and is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of the HOPE project as project manager. Her work focuses on refining the project’s reporting tools, implementing comprehensive training programs, and developing robust auditing methodologies for antisemitic incidents. She coordinates closely with stakeholders to ensure that the tools and training resources effectively meet community needs. Hannah is also responsible for developing a thorough and accurate auditing process, designed to support impactful policy and advocacy. She collaborates with software developers to enhance the reporting tool’s content methodology, ensuring it aligns with the requirements of Jewish community organizations and is effective in addressing antisemitism.
Amber Weinber - Project and Tool Analyst
Amber Weinber is a dedicated expert on combating antisemitism at the World Jewish Congress, with over a decade of experience in addressing online hate and antisemitism at both national and international levels. She has provided valuable recommendations to government officials and United Nations representatives on antisemitism, Holocaust denial, and conspiracy theories. For the HOPE Project, Amber leads data analysis for the reporting tool, preparing in-depth audit reports that identify key patterns and trends. Her work also includes issuing targeted recommendations for thematic and regional audits, ensuring that HOPE’s data-driven insights are actionable and impactful.
Tirza Dévald - Financial Manager
Tirza Dévald is a Project and Events Assistant at the World Jewish Congress, with a background in International Security and Defense Policy from the National University of Public Service. In her role, Tirza supports various projects and manages financial oversight for events. For the HOPE Project, Tirza is responsible for financial management, ensuring accurate budgeting, tracking, and reporting of project expenses. She provides essential support to the project administrator, helping maintain HOPE’s financial integrity and resource allocation.
Marija Ljubinkovic – Hate Speech and Antisemitism Research Analyst
Marija Ljubinkovic serves as a Hate Speech and Antisemitism Research Analyst at the World Jewish Congress where she specializes in monitoring and analyzing antisemitic content across various platforms. For the HOPE project, Marija plays a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and documenting antisemitic trends and behaviors both online and offline. Her work involves actively tracking patterns in antisemitic content, enabling the HOPE team to detect emerging threats early and respond effectively. Marija’s analyses support strategic decisions within the project, ensuring that HOPE remains proactive and responsive to evolving hate trends.
