Yfat Barak- Cheney - Senior Project Manager
Yfat Barak-Cheney is the World Jewish Congress’s Director of International Affairs and Director of Technology and Human Rights. Through her work, Yfat engages with stakeholders such as governments, international organizations, civil society and tech companies on issues of hate speech and antisemitism online, Holocaust Denial and Distortion online, using technology for education and more. As Senior Project Manager of HOPE, Yfat oversees the strategic implementation of the project, ensuring that HOPE's tools and resources are effectively used to empower Jewish communities and foster safe online spaces. She leads efforts to strengthen partnerships with policymakers and tech platforms, driving advocacy and awareness on digital hate issues and supporting the enforcement of policies that address online antisemitism.
Andras Ligeti - Project Administrator
Andras Ligeti is the World Jewish Congress’s Director of Community Relations and Representative for Central Europe. In this role, Andras maintains close connections with WJC’s affiliated communities, helping them build capacity, access resources, and implement WJC initiatives at the national level. For the HOPE Project, Andras oversees all communications with national affiliated communities, ensuring they are supported in their efforts to combat antisemitism online. He also manages the project’s communication with the European Commission and coordinates with the operator and Digital Contact Points, streamlining processes to ensure the project's objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Máté Holler - External Relations Manager
Máté Holler is the External Relations Manager of WJC's Technology and Human Rights Institute (TecHRI). A native of Hungary, Máté has lived in various European countries, including Denmark, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. He holds a Bsc in Comparative Politics and an Msc in European Politics and External Relations from the University of Amsterdam. Máté is a published researcher, specialising in patronage and networks of corruption in Central and Eastern Europe. Máté has been actively involved with the European Union of Jewish Students (EUJS). Initially elected as Vice-President for the 2021-2023 term, he was subsequently reelected to serve from 2023 to 2025.
Marija Ljubinkovic – Hate Speech and Antisemitism Research Analyst
Marija Ljubinkovic serves as a Hate Speech and Antisemitism Research Analyst at the World Jewish Congress where she specializes in monitoring and analyzing antisemitic content across various platforms. For the HOPE project, Marija plays a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and documenting antisemitic trends and behaviors both online and offline. Her work involves actively tracking patterns in antisemitic content, enabling the HOPE team to detect emerging threats early and respond effectively. Marija’s analyses support strategic decisions within the project, ensuring that HOPE remains proactive and responsive to evolving hate trends.
